Espression Arts in partnership with Kent Arts and Wellbeing and Age U.k. Canterbury and Age U.k. Herne Bay and Whitstable are currently recruiting creative volunteers to support the Our Work of Art Programme.
We have a wonderful group of volunteers each bringing different experience, skills and interests to our projects and the vulnerable older people we support to get creative.
We have a very flexible volunteer approach which enables people to engage and offer what ever time they have. There isn't an expectation of regular participation, some people do lots and some people do a little. Some people volunteer in Herne Bay and Whitstable and others focus on Canterbury. We have opportunities in our Arts Cafe and out on mobile projects.
The volunteers have a monthly meeting which gives opportunity for taking part in practical crafts to develop skills, drinks, biscuits or cakes are provided as is lots of opportunity for chatting and keeping up with project developments!
